SURGERY & SAME-DAY SURGERY

Our freestanding surgery center is one of the highest rated surgical facilities in the United States. In the last year, 6,000 surgical procedures were performed by more than 60 surgeons at LBH. All types of surgery are performed at LBH including: open heart, ophthalmology, general surgery, urology, neurosurgery, orthopaedic, oral surgery, ENT, plastics and occuloplastics, podiatry, and vascular procedures.

Our operating rooms are equipped with the latest technology, including lasers, laparoscopes, microscopes, and video. These and other modalities are used to assist in surgery and help speed our patients’ recovery. When appropriate, many doctors and patients choose techniques that allow for same day surgery in our Outpatient Surgery Center. The convenient and efficient center includes sophisticated operating suites designed for the safety and comfort of our patients.

Anesthesia/Pain Management

The quality of care patients receive in the LBH Department of Anesthesia is comparable to care found in university settings, using state-of-the-art technologies and modern electronic monitoring to provide patients with the ultimate in comfort and safety. Our Board Certified Anesthesiologists are the leaders of an expert team of nurses and technicians, helping patients through the surgical experience.

The Pain Management Center at Lower Bucks Hospital provides chronic pain patients an opportunity to live their lives more comfortably. Cutting edge techniques such as sympathetic blockade, epidural or spinal administration, nerve blocks, TENS, neurolytic blocks, acupuncture, and rehabilitation services provide patients with relief.
