Calcium Scoring Test

BUCKS COUNTY HEART CENTER

We perform sophisticated open-heart surgery at Lower Bucks Hospital, saving lives with skill and precision. Patients with severe cardiac difficulties no longer need to travel far from home to undergo cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, medicated stent insertion, or major cardiac bypass or reconstructive surgery. Our new comprehensive electrophysiology service will help heart patients in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. More than 28,000 cardiac tests were performed in our Heart Station last year to evaluate heart functions. Electrocardiograms, color doppler echocardiograms, stress tests and cardiac event monitoring are just some of the sophisticated tests performed to give patients early warning of possible heart problems.

Many cardiac patients enroll in our cardiac rehabilitation program, combining diet, exercise and education to keep them on the road to recovery.
