WAYS OF GIVING
From
the very beginning, the community has supported its hospital. Beginning
with the birth of Levittown 1949, and the 17,000 homes that were
built, community leaders spoke of building their own hospital.
The idea took root based on one charitable contribution, and that
tradition of giving continues to this day.
Since
1954, Lower Bucks Hospital's mission has been to provide this community
with the finest healthcare possible, and to offer it to all people,
regardless of their ability to pay. With over $100 million invested
in the infrastructure on our 36-acre campus, and millions of patients
cared for, LBH has brought state-of-the-art care to this region.
But neither the life-saving technology nor the
legacy of healing would be here if not for the sacrifice and generosity
of thousands of individuals, corporations, union members, foundations,
and thousands of grateful families.
Every day the hospital welcomes the opportunity
to help those in need, and, in turn, this community reaches back
to the hospital, investing in its success, helping to advance its
noble, humanitarian mission. It is important to know that 100% of
your gift goes to the facilities and healthcare programs right here
on our campus.
How can you support your community hospital so
that vital services are ready and waiting to care for you or a loved
one in a time of need? How can you show your appreciation for the
care a family member or friend already received at Lower Bucks Hospital?
Make a donation - large or small - everyone can help!
Please read about the many ways that you can support
the LBH mission.

A charitable gift annuity provides an income fund for the donor.
Deferred Charitable Gift Annuity
Similar to the charitable gift annuity, the deferred charitable gift annuity
may be a better choice for younger donors who are planning for supplemental
income when they retire.
Bequest
One of the most frequent forms of planned giving, the bequest is tax deductible.
Insurance
Naming Lower Bucks Hospital as the primary or contingent insurance policy
beneficiary is another popular gift.
Charitable Remainder Trust
The charitable remainder annuity is irrevocable and provides a fixed income
based on the value of the assets at the time the trust is created.
Charitable Remainder Unitrust
The charitable remainder unitrust is also an irrevocable trust, but provides
fluctuating income based on a fixed percentage of the annual value of the
trust.
Charitable Lead Trust
The charitable lead trust allows the donor to provide the medical center
with income for a specific number of years, which he or she determines
(five, 10, 15, 25 years or more).
